Account Recovery Policy

To protect the security of your information, Wellx uses a strict password recovery procedure for healthcare providers and their staff.

If you lose your password and cannot access your account, or if your account is locked after being inactive for 90 days, you must use one of the following procedures to acquire a new password:

  • Use two unique codes sent to your email address and to your cell phone by text message to select a new password;
  • Contact us directly for manual identity verification. We will contact your practice at the contact information listed with the relevant college or other licensing authority (e.g. the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Ontario) to provide a new password; or,
  • If your practice is not governed by a licensing authority that publishes contact information, we may request additional proof of identity (e.g. a photocopy of your driver’s license) before providing a new password.

We reserve the right to refuse to provide a new password or to request additional proof of identity at our discretion.

We strongly recommend that all users protect their account by providing a cell phone number for password recovery and, if possible, enabling two-factor authentication using a smartphone. These settings can be changed at:
